Staqed 0.0.2: a smoother workspace
This release makes Staqed easier to navigate and improves browser and terminal workflows, with clearer provider status updates along the way.
A workspace that uses its space well
You can hide the navigation rail to give the rest of the workspace more room, then bring it back with the chevron. Join the waitlist links now take you to staqed.com.
Clearer provider status updates
Provider status checks can now wait up to 120 seconds for a response. The status indicator is quieter, its alert is easier to read, and the slow-request notice waits 45 seconds before appearing.
A more useful browser
Browser tabs are now listed inside the Browser panel, keeping the top bar tidy. Enter a search such as “who is Adele” to see Google results, or enter a website address to go straight to that site.
More choice in the terminal
When opening a terminal on Windows, you can choose Command Prompt or PowerShell. macOS and Linux use the shells available on those systems. Pressing Ctrl+C stops the running process while keeping the terminal open.
Terminals that are easier to manage
Terminal sessions now stay together in one panel. Split sessions are clearly grouped with more space between groups, and you can give each terminal a name. Closing a terminal uses simple inline confirm and cancel buttons.
