Staqed 0.0.4: A more flexible desktop workspace
Staqed 0.0.4 adds floating chats and a thread canvas, improves project file workflows, and makes My Pocket and the composer easier to use.
Arrange conversations your way
Open conversations in floating chats, move and resize them, and arrange them on a canvas. Minimize chats or collapse them into title pills to make room. Click a pill to reopen its chat, or drag it to move the minimized chat stack. Floating chat controls are easier to find, and the chat remains accessible while minimized.
Work with project files
Browse nested project folders, open files in the editor or preview, and use the selected file as context in the composer. File selection actions and file comments are easier to access. Browser previews can use the project environment, and browser tabs are easier to manage.
Save and reuse items with My Pocket
My Pocket is available in floating chats as well as the main chat view. It holds templates, notes, to-dos, and stashed prompts. Saved items show their full titles in tooltips, and the pocket stays open while you compose. Its save buttons and item actions take up less space.
Compose and choose models more easily
The composer grows for multiline drafts, keeps its controls in place, and leaves the Stop action beside the status when subagents are working. The model picker has a simpler model list, with favorite controls and session and weekly usage limits shown side by side. Composer model controls and the send button are more compact.
Navigate threads with less clutter
Sidebar threads are grouped into pinned, on-hold, and done sections. Branch names and empty project labels no longer crowd thread rows. The new-thread view has a bottom-docked composer, improved logo and title spacing, and no longer shows the "or start without a project" helper text.
Use a more reliable desktop browser and workspace
Browser tabs can be restored after closing. Browser sign-in, captchas, fullscreen, links, shortcuts, and reload behavior have been improved. Opening a supported link can start a conversation with its prompt ready to send. The desktop also includes an interactive device workspace and improvements to remote browser previews.
